With nearly 45 million lacking basic health insurance, Symetra Life created an answer and has introduced Select Benefits. Select Benefits is an employer based alternative, which provides essential medical insurance, using the Arizona Foundation for Medical Care PPO Network.

The product allows for a stable benefit plan, with fixed monthly premiums, employees receive the same benefits so long as they remain eligible. Eligibility is determined by the employer.

Plans include coverage for office visits, lab and x-ray, preventative care, prescription coverage, hospitalization, surgery and maternity coverage. In addition dental, std and vision can be added.

These plans are real insurance on a cost effective platform. This is not a discount card! This is not “gap coverage” or “mini med” -- this is coverage for essential medical service! The plans are administered by Symetra Life, including full Cobra administration.
